Default Looking to make 20 - 30 more HP at the crank

Can it be done without forced induction? I've never had a hybrid before so I have no idea if making this much more power is possible without the aid of forced induction so help me out. Is it possible? If so, how? I think this car would be amazing with about 150 crank HP but I don't know how to get it there and I don't see any good forced induction systems out there yet.

Intakes, exhausts, throttle bodies, cams, ECU tuning... what's available, what's good, and what if anything will get me to my goal. I wouldn't say money is no object, I don't want to spend more than say a turbo kit (when one becomes available) would cost, but I am willing to spend some money. All the tuner shops on this forum, feel free to post any of the products you sell that will help me get to this goal.

Thanks in advance for your input. Cheers!

As far as I can tell, neither one of those kits are available yet. Am I wrong? Are they available for purchase now? As for the engine swap, I'm not ready to go that far. I want products, that are available now or will be before then end of the year that will help make the car a little more powerful.

HKS supercharger is available, but the Bisi kit probably won't be in production before January. There is a preorder list for the Bisi kit atm, with reduced price for the first 10 kits.

Other than that you could probably get close to what you want by getting the Spoon cam/ecu + thottlebody and combine that with an intake and exhaust. If you really want to go NA.

Good info, thanks... do you by chance have links to these? The HKS USA website doesn't have the supercharger kit and I don't where to look for the Spoon setup. Thanks again!

HKS USA don't sell the kit I believe. It is available in both Japan and Europe though. Don't have any links for that atm though.

Gotuning.com sell the Spoon parts.

Bisimoto.com under forum for the turbo kit preorder I believe.

HKS USA is shut down.

As Varg stated, full exhaust, intake, and TB should get you over your goal pretty easily.

The Temple of VTEC - Honda and Acura Enthusiasts Online - Articles - An attempt to compare...: 2nd test

Hondata had a dyno of CR-Z with HKS exhaust using dynapack. 139hp, so you aren't far from your goal.

I've got 128bhp with the following mods without a tune:
HKS RSK
P2R Downpipe
Custom cat-back

With a custom map it'll easily top over 135bhp+ or could also wait for Hondata to release theirs...

What is an HKS RSK? Also, do you have a dyno chart on your car? I would love to see what the curve looks like with these mods. Thanks.
