EV's are fun. That's Ron A.'s Camaro, yes? Running two Zilla 2K's and two Warp-11 motors, yes?
Here's his car going down the track: EV Drag Ron A in his EV Camero at Palm Beach International Raceway - YouTube John Wayland's "White Zombie" Datsun 1200 is also a blast (1 Zilla 2k and a pair of ADC 8 inch motors mated together into one) and the current world record holder in the Pro Street class (NEDRA classification; which is fully endorsed and included in NHRA rules): White Zombie 1/4 Mile Speed Record PIR 9.10.2010 - YouTube |

He ran a 9.92 1/4 in the 1/4 mile simulation. We didn't get to HP & TQ. The batteries aren't meant for back to back runs they are set up for 10 sec full throttle bursts, so on the 2nd run a battery connector fried and the fun was over. The motors in the car are rated at 2000Ft Lbs! So we were hoping to see something close to that.
Yep, that's him. Our fabricator has been helping him set up the car for the track on the weekends and I went to see him break the North America record a few weeks ago and told him we needed to see that thing on the DYNO. It didn't disappoint! ![]() Quote:
