If you have put in an aftermarket GPS unit what do you have or what would you recommend? I am looking for a double din unit, Kenwood and Pioneer are at the top of my list but are there better options. |

I originally chose a Pioneer 2 din unit (avic 930 bt) but swapped to Kenwood DNX 4250bt after learning Pioneer has no adaptor to maintain steering wheel controls. With the Kenwood unit I possibly also maintain bt control on the steering wheel. Not shure though as I'm awaiting delivery of my car. I'll let you know if I retained full swc as soon as she is delivered.

I have a Pioneer 930bt in my car, and I do in fact retain steering wheel controls for ch+-, vol+- and mode. However, I have lost controls to the Bluetooth phone buttons and voice control. After the unit was installed, I found out that my phone was still connecting to the cars built in bluetooth, since the bluetooth handsfree unit is separate from the stock head unit. It's basically useless now though since it's not connected to the speakers or microphone anymore.
