Default Warranty

Looking into getting a CRz. Past two cars have been modified. just wondering coilovers would void the warranty? Or is there anyway To go around it?

Look out for a intro thread later

There are more than a few discussions on this subject. Do a forum search and will get a lot of information..

Just keep your stock parts around in case you have a problem and need to swap em out before you take it to Honda.

I put my oem suspension, wheels and exhaust back on and my CRZ is currently at a dealer getting fixed, no questions asked so far.

Oh and welcome btw

sohcsol,
have you got a shop or lift, or did you just go through the effort of jacking up the car a side at a time and swap back the original parts? (Im wondering how much trouble you went through to swap the parts)

wicked1, where are you located in the midwest? I'm sure there's people on the boards that could help you w/ the swap. Im in NW Illinois and did mine in my driveway. Not a hard mod. Just make sure you don't drop the axle out of the boot. Not fun trying to get it back in.

Armanduhx3,
I've had my car in for service due to some lights being tripped. Ended up being a faulty wheel speed sensor and it was replaced under warranty. Been on coilovers since a week after I purchased the car.

I guess tapatalk doesn't allow me to post?

Ive had a heavily modified focus and a slightly modded s2000. And I would be super sad to have to leave my car stock for 5 years/50000 miles. So this is great news!!!

Scotty, thanks for the link. I'll make sure to search before asking next time!! Thanks!

Also not sure what color to go with. Either white or black. Hm

I do it in my garage, one axle at a time. Takes 3-4 hours to swap everything out thay way, Ive done it a few times though.
