Carbon fiber rear hatch trim - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

So I asked JDP engineering if they had any plans to make the rear hatch trim in carbon fiber, as it is a piece I would like myself. They had the following reply:

I'd be interested if the price wasn't horrible since its just a fairly flat panel. Also depends on how it adheres to the panel as I would want it flush to the panel and not popped out at all.

is this refering to the part where the "crz" emblem is located?

The panel is removable, I was thinking they could make a copy of it in cf. The OEM panel is mounted with clips I think.

I already had mine replaced with a black one, but cf would be even more awesome

Probably about the same as the weight saved by debadging

I just think it would look good. I also don't mind if they shave off the part where the H badge goes. I linked this thread in my last email to JDP btw. Fingers crossed they make the part, even though it is purely cosmetic
