Default Found an alternative tuning solution for us!!

Hey guys,

So with plans of going turbo but not wanting to pay the big bucks of the JDM kits or the bisimoto kit. I've been searching around for an alternative solution for those needing tuning. I came across a company in the midwest called boomslang. Boomslang makes ecu harnesses for ecu's such as the aem fic and the greddy e-manage. I called to ask if they were planing on a harness for us cr-z guys and I come to find out that they were already looking into it and found out that we share the same harness as another Honda ecu, I believe he said the 06 civic but I forgot I was too excited to pay full attention lol. Non the less he can have a harness made for us to be able to plug and play the aem fic or the e-manage . I believe cost 200$, plus the aem fic which Is in the ball park of 300$. Now the aem fic isn't te easiest or most advanced tuning device but it's capable and ts been successful. Thankfully my tuner and close friend is a aem fic wizard. Either way I wanted to share this info with you guys.

Here's a link to boomslang's page:

You, my friend, are amazing! Midwest should be in my range. I'll have to postpone my search for a nice Busa now lol.

Ha, now the only hard part is picking which unit to get. The Emanage blue has some poor reviews but both the ultimate and FIC are reviewed well. I think the Ultimate with ignition advance and rev limit adjustment will do a bit more, obviously at a higher price.

coming from what the fit owners(turbo, s/c, and n/a) have used. a lot of them switch from a greddy unit to the fi/c. seems to work better.
