Looks like there is simply a holding benefit from this clutch kit. It also looks like it is a complete flywheel/clutch disk/pressure plate/throwout bearing kit. The flywheel and pressure plate also appear to be light weight...the pressure plate cover looks to be made of aluminum too!

I would bet that this kit is built to supply folks going for extra horsepower who desire quicker shifts from less rotating mass.

...on my list of available options for a stock replacement since it is so complete and still runs a dampened clutch disk.

I am really interested in what the driver who drove it compared it to the original feel...other than that, no translation involved and I want it!!!!!

What other options are out there for clutchs?

The CR-Z doesn't need or have the power for a real race clutch but I know I will go through mine eventually and a light weight one would be a nice replacement.

i didnt catch it all but for the most part he said that due to the supercharger the new clutch would grab alot more and he also says there is less loss of power while shifting.

i'm still a novice in japanese and there's alot of words i still don't understand lol.

I'm sure it will fit since there is a video if it in action. I just dread the price. Judging from EVO and STi clutches of this variety it's around 1500-2000 dollars to just get the parts into your hand. Ouch!

Waiting on ACT for the clutch on mine, but this is a top-shelf part for sure.

Usdm really needs to start Making parts for us. Silly that we have to pay so much for parts when we have legit companies here who just haven't gained interest in our car.
