Default easy fitting exhaust systems

Does anyone have recommendations on exhaust systems that fit well/easily? As in have fairly good clearance, don't rattle, not risking burning something by touching something incorrectly? i had the blf catback, but was put off by how you have to put it on 'just so' to keep it from rattling.

is the hks silent power decent?

Ditto on this question, would love to hear feedback if anyone wants to share. I have a spoon N1 that needs a couple of up stream playmates. Thanks!

Noblesse with t1r down and mid were pretty simple install. Haven't had any issues with either.

P2r fits perfectly and so does hks. I had both prior to the BLF so I am speaking from experience.

Edit: you also mentioned the black label was a little louder than you wanted if I remember correctly? HKS is quieter if memory serves. I don't think the BLF is loud either but everyones different.

I'm more concerned with noise levels really. Is the HKS the quieter system on the market atm? I'm actually considering not doing anything to the exhaust at all to avoid it being too loud for every day use. I have a Greddy Evo2 on my Accord and that is just annoyingly loud for longer trips.

HKS is one of the most quietest.

Although my HKS is pretty loud once paired with a T1R midpipe and T1R test pipe.

Sorry to hijack the thread, any recommendations on a down and mid pipe that would go well with the Spoon N1? I need the cat to stay and don't want things super loud... but I'm flexible on that last one

I have access to a lift for the next few weeks and will take pics of the installs as they move along.

Thanks all!

I've had an HKS and a Tanabe on a Del Sol, and an HKS on an RSX (all catback), all exhausts fit perfectly for installation; the HKS tip was a bit close to the RSX body, but pictures of the CR-Z's HKS Silent Power show no apparent problems, except that the tip is ugly in my opinion. All aftermarket exhausts had the occasional exhaust rattle sound under throttle. Personally, I hear an occasional exhaust rattle on my OEM CRZ 6MT's exhaust (not the battery cooling fan) under throttle.

I would say with a fair bit of confidence that the HKS is the quietest one.

the cat delete makes a pretty big difference. also youre running a larger midpipe than HKS supplies which also adds to the effect.

If you dont replace the cat you will keep the tone down. The only midpipe you can buy as of now if memory serves is T1R.
-BLF's midpipe wont work with any other exhaust out of the box.
-P2r has no resonator so when you add the spoon axelback you will have a pretty large exhaust stepdown which may create rasp / a hollow sound.
-HKS doesnt sell their midpipe as a standalone

T1R is your best bet.

I didnt notice any rattle with my oem exhaust, my HKS, my P2r or my now fixed BLF exhaust.. Not sure what thats all about.
