Alternative option for the blue side mirrors - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

I'm not trying to be a jerk by offering an alternative to what one of our vendors has for sale, but i saw this on eBay and wanted to share it. It's a relatively cheaper alternative to the blue side mirror replacements.

i contacted the seller and it's not just an overlay, it's the actual piece of glass that will replace the existing mirror. For those that don't want that, the seller sells a separate lens that you can just stick on to your existing mirror. I went ahead and bought it ($64 USD shipped) and will write up a diy and full review about it when I get it.

I ordered these and got the ones with adhesive on the back with I would have seen the replacement ones oh well easier install for me I guess

are they actually concave mirrors (it says they are but they mostly advertise that it's polarized so sounds iffy)? or are they just regular polarized side mirrors? The whole reason for the wide blue mirrors is so that you can have a wider range of view, let us know how they are when you get them

it'll take around two weeks or so to get them from taiwan but i'll write up a review as soon as they're on the car.

they look concave in the image. that's some expensive shipping there. if only they could get dealextreme rates.

i actually contacted the seller and asked him to price out 15 units. he asked for my paypal. i'd be willing to direct him to this thread if we wanted to do a group buy. i'll try and find out pricing. who would be in for this?

Depends on the price but you can count me in. The original price is not too far off from the T1R pricing so yeah..

I think you mean 'convex' mirrors.

Concave would give you a really myopic view of the world.
