Default KSK Midpipe question and thoughts... eventually

Just got mine in the mail today. I'd like to post thoughts on it, but I can't seem to detach the stock midpipe from the downpipe. Are the bolts just on there really tight and I need to stop being a sissy and crank the hell out of it or am I missing something?

Try and use some PB Blaster and soak the bolts in it for a couple minutes before taking them off. Before hand, driving the car around the block may help as the heat + the penetrating oil will assist in ease of taking it apart.

Am I trying to turn the bolts on the side of the downpipe or the side of the midpipe or both?

use a wrench on one side, use a socket on the other.

I would, but the piece the sent me that connects to the downpipe doesn't line up right. Havn't drivwn it around, but so far, I'm not thrilled with it.

Detaching the mid pipe from the down pipe was a major pita. Two bolts were fine and the last bolt came off reluctantly. Sorry to hear u r having issues.

The midpipe I just recieved yesterday was bent where the two midpipe pieces meet together. It was a pita to get it to work out. I didnt get a chance to install it yesterday. Hopefully I get enough time today to get some work done on it.

It was a "pita" to get on. I ended up drilling out the holes that were in the midpipe so that it would attach to the downpipe. The midpipe gives it a deep throaty note, which I don't hate. It is a bit loud though. There is a noticeable performance difference. I normally drive in eco mode and it's completely different now that I've installed the intake and exhaust.
