Basically, if you install one of these knobs on your crz, you do not need to use the height thread. I must have spent an hour trying to adjust the height thread in a way that the pattern comes out in the proper position. I ended up just using the main nylon thread, screwing it on tightly in a way that let the knob come out into the proper position. Without the height thread, the knob is extremely low, in fact it's so low you don't need a short shifter. it's also very very HEAVY. The added weight makes it a breeze to shift, and it's a very nice feel now. If you're willing to put up with the pain in the butt that it is to install, it works out very well. |

alright here are some pics. I forgot to mention that I purchased the 06+ honda civic shift collar from twm and that works fine with crz. The base crz shift knob comes with a plastic silver collar that doesn't fit into the twm knob, so you have to buy twm's collar for it to look good.
