Lol. I wonder if we can contact the seller and get a forum discount.

You wouldn't happen to be able to do powder coating, would you?

Powder coating would be a waste, imho. now, ceramic coating on the other hand has its benefits.

Im not going to sell them on ebay anymore. I would have to sell them for 195 to just walk away with 140 after everythings said and done. only through the forum am i interested in selling them to members now. so, if any of you guys want one, just shoot me a pm.

Would ceramic coating really do anything that far down on the exhaust?

ceramic coated headers and exhaust components in the racing industry is used because it retains heat. the hotter the exhuast, the faster it will flow. the faster it will flow/more velocity, the more HP you will have. is it great for exhaust? hell yes! Would i spend the money on it for a hybrid who stays all motor? nope.

On a car that makes very little heat and horsepower like ours I don't think that ceramic coating is cost effective or even beneficial.

The reason for ceramic coating is to control heat and through that heat control, speed up exhaust flow. But on our cars it just isn't worth it.

Get an engine that has 13:1 compression, and you might find the need for exotic coatings.

I knew about the headers. I didn't know it would still make a difference that far down. Thanks for the info.

it does...but then you get into diminishing returns theory. Theres a reason race cars have very little exhaust. lol.
