I wished you lived closer, Scotty, I'd love to help out with the install! That way you'd have some $$ leftover for a distracting gift that will smooth things over with the wife while explaining where the hardwood floor money just went...

^ Item9 That would be extremely cool.. But I'm still thinking on it.

So Jackson Racing (Oscar), If one was to be the first (CVT), any deals to be made and would you be working with the installer to minimize install time and mistakes etc to keep the cost down? In this case would probably be MAXRPM up here unless you had someone else in mind. Will PM.

Really excited for the CVT kit! As a CVT owner, I'm curious to see how she behaves with the SC equipped.

If the results are as good as I'm expecting, I may have to put me name down for an SC kit~

It comes with a 25 page install manual with full color illustrations. It's very thorough. Your installer shouldn't have any problems for the most part. I did have a few issues such as needing additional serrated bolts to properly ground the low tone horn to the lower intercooler bracket. I posted some install notes that Jackson is aware of and I believe that they have made some changes to the kit, such as include serrated hardware for the horn, to remedy those issues.

CVT may have us MT people beat when it comes to this supercharger! A big concern of mine was the way the power comes on so smoothly.. There's no jump 1/3 the way up your RPM range like a turbo.. You don't get full boost till redline. That's not an issue in sport mode on the CVT!

I can say the the CVT with the kit is INSANE. The match of the SC and the car is amazing.

Man, if was was close, we would be hooking up to get this done.

With that said, how many hours do you think an experienced shop would take to do the install and tune (JR's Tune) on the premise I bought the entire package..

I'm kinda thinking my Typhoon SRI also has to go.

You don't have to tune if you install the Jackson Racing Calibration. Simply add it to your ECU Via Flashpro and you are done. A competent shop should be able to install the kit and have it to you in a day or following day.
