  • dashed to 60 mph in a scant 6.9 seconds and to the quarter mile in 15.5

just those numbers alone make the CR-Z even more interesting than b4... especially the raised rev limiter... i wasn't sure how high the stock motor can go w/o damaging something but it seems like it can handle the added power and higher revs...

those numbers also put it close to the USDM stock civic Si numbers... lets hope that the hurt fuel economy of 25c/29h was just in Sport mode... if econ can retain 35h+ then that's a real winner...

my question is, why didn't Honda release the CR-Z with these specs in the first place??
Also the weight 200lbs was reduced. Likely, no airbag, sound deaden, etc...
Also read $8000 in parts. All that to make it match a Civic Si's performance.

So is this worth a stock civic si which has all the safety and comfort features and less $8000?
