Incomplete list (but most of the big-names):
Good wheel brands (non-knockoff companies, original designs, multi-piece wheels or forged): Rays Engineering (Volk Racing), Work Wheels, Wedsport, BBS, Enkei, Desmond (pretty much dead now), Kosei, Advan
In-between (good quality, but nothing special): 5Zigen, Konig
Avoid (fake, knockoff or poor quality): Rota, Drag, XXR, Focal, ASA, TSW, MBwheels, Voxx, Motegi, Advanti, American Racing, Axis,
With that being said, I have used Rotas (on roadcourse/racetrack) and they are fine in terms of quality, but are known for ripping off other's designs.
