Not sure drheem, maybe you've got alot of uphill driving or you've got a heavier foot! I pretty much drive back and fourth to work, have a mixed drive to and from work and all freeway on the way home. Not to make you feel worse but during the winter monthes my mileage never got that low, I'd have to look back a couple pages here to see what it was actually. For this entire spring driving season I've had my new tires/wheels installed as well as my intake too but the intake should actually help rather than hurt as it produces more torque and thus helps the car move along a little bit easier. Now as far as the winter goes with the intake, well, its going to be breathing in all that colder air, it might take away from the mileage due to all that cold, dense air and making the computer dump more air, we'll see (no hurry to find out about that for sure!)
Getting gas yesterday netted 43.3 mpg (OBC showed 42.8 mpg, still in SPORT) and this is going to be my last tank before I zero out the trip B to show spring overall mileage, last time I checked that I was a little over 5k and mileage was near 40 mpg overall. The temps have dropped ALOT here the past 2 days and its been raining, temps we down to the mid 50's and dropped to 46 degrees on my way home from work, chilly!
drheems, maybe you should give premium a try for a few tanks, can't hurt, right? Also, what mode are driving in?
